BEE AUCTION – 1 pm! Six hives of bees available for sale! 100% wild stock, treatment-free & sugar-free. Starting bid $999 per colony which includes the 14-frame Layens hive they come in! All proceeds benefit Dr. Leo’s growing 1000-acre bee sanctuary. Totally amazing genetics – Dr. Leo calls them the “Turning Point Bees”. They would be best adapted to Kansas and Missouri, but also southern Nebraska & Iowa and northern Oklahoma.

SCHEDULE

This is an easy-going B-Day without a rigid “schedule”. We’ll go with the flow of the day; you’re welcome to come and go any time you please. Here are the highlights of the day:

  • Doors open: 10 am  Saturday, July 12, 2025
  • Equipment sales / Ask Dr. Leo questions: any time 10 am to 5 pm
  • Tom Turner on his 150 Layens hives: 12 pm
  • Bee auction for six awesome hives with bees: 1 pm
  • Live music performance: 3 pm
  • Dr. Leo blows out candles: 4 pm – Zaryana is baking a B-Day Cake for 200 people!
  • Doors close: 5 pm

We’ll greet you with free organic tea & coffee and healthful treats and snacks. Please bring your mug for drinks to help us minimize waste. No lunch provided – bring your own lunch. Cabool, MO, 3 miles away, has Subway and a Mexican restaurant.
